What can i say..this gig was awesome.
To kick off the night there was 2 support acts, esoterica
and catherderal. Esoterica were very good and played a good
set, there last song was especially good and they included
the audience singing a bit of there song. Cathedral were
poor and by the end of there set everyone was chanting for
HIM.
Next up were HIM. For a not to heavy band
there was plenty of mosh pits appearing all over the place
and everyone was enjoying themselves. Before the gig me
and my friends were taking guesses as to which song would
be played first, the first was song was soul on fire and
it sounded so good. I didn't use to listen to 'in joy and
sorrow' much as i thought it is one of HIM's worst songs,
but it sounded awesome live and have since changed my mind
on this song. one very good point of the night was when
ville stopped half way through solitary man and changed
the lyrics to solitary woman. One major dissapointment was
the fact they didn't play pretending which is my favourite
HIM song.
